(445) Outcomes of Heart Transplant Recipients That Had a Percutaneous Coronary Intervention

چکیده
PurposeCoronary allograft vasculopathy (CAV) contributes to long-term mortality after heart transplantation (HT). A selected population of patients undergo percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for focal lesions. We sought investigate the real-life outcomes PCI treatment CAV.MethodsIn a retrospective cohort study, we analyzed included in 2011-2019 Nationwide Readmissions Database (NRD). identified adult with history HT who underwent and their baseline characteristics based on ICD-9-CM ICD10-CM codes. performed multivariable logistic regression analysis adjusted age, sex, relevant comorbidities, hospital bed size assess predictors readmissions mortality.ResultsWe 726 PCI. Patients had mean age 59.3 years, 76.2% were male. In this cohort, 111 (16.1%) readmitted within 30 days 33 (4.5%) died during index hospitalization. Table 1 contains characteristics. In-hospital complications AKI (24.1%), bleeding requiring transfusion (2.5%), stroke (0.9%), AMI (27.9%), need MCS (7.9%), cardiac arrest (4.1%). End-stage renal disease (OR=2.63, CI 1.25-5.54, p=0.012) COPD (OR=3.25, 1.64-6.46, p=0.001) independent 30-day readmissions, whereas arrhythmias (OR=2.11, 1.23-3.61, p=0.007), ESRD (OR 1.61, 1.13-2.30, p =0.009), in-hospital mortality. The 180-day readmission rate post was 32.5%.ConclusionOver 9 relatively low number Hospitalizations associated significant morbidity End stage as predictor poor outcomes. Coronary CAV. 32.5%. Over

Dynamic changes in purine catabolism in patients with acute coronary syndrome that underwent percutaneous coronary intervention
Background: Cardiovascular diseases are global problems. They are causes of death in about 43% of people worldwide and may become the most widespread reason of death by 2020. The prognosis is directly dependent to immediate diagnosis and on time treatment. Introduction of new biochemical markers as the early diagnosis of complications after coronary revascularization is very important in this p...
متن کاملClinical effect of treating renal transplant recipients with percutaneous coronary intervention and its safety
OBJECTIVE To explore clinical effect of treating acute coronary syndrome (ACS) of renal transplant recipients with percutaneous coronary intervention and its safety. METHODS Forty two renal transplant recipients who were diagnosed with acute coronary syndrome and received percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in our hospital were selected. Serum creatinine (Cr) and glomerular filtration ra...
متن کاملDrug-Eluting Stents Versus Bare Metal Stents for Percutaneous Coronary Intervention in Kidney Transplant Recipients.
BACKGROUND The comparative effectiveness of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with drug-eluting stents (DES) versus bare metal stents (BMS) has not been studied in the kidney transplant population. METHODS Using the US Renal Data System, we identified 3245 kidney transplant patients who underwent PCI between April 2003 and December 2010; 2400 and 845 patients received DES and BMS, resp...
متن کاملEffect of Exercise Training on Heart Rate Variability in Patients with Heart Failure After Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
Background: This study aims to evaluate the effect of exercise training on heart rate variability (HRV) and to determine the correlation between parameters of HRV and the ejection fraction in patients with heart failure after percutaneous coronary intervention.Material and Methods: Fifty patients with left ventricular ejection fraction ≤ 40% undergone percutaneous coronary intervention were r...
متن کاملHeart Transplant Recipients
Background Sudden death (SD) and acute myocardial infarction (AMI) are the main complications limiting long-term survival after heart transplantation (HT). They are unpredictable and, at present, unpreventable. Platelet aggregation (PA) has recently emerged as a significant prognostic indicator in nontransplanted coronary disease patients. The main purpose of the present study was to evaluate t...
